This is a quick cropped shot of my contribution to the HOMEfestival, I'm sure by now you've heard all about this international muralfestival from home. Raising awareness for sustainability, conservation and generally pointing out how delegate our shared ecosystem actually is. Fitting times. . HOME has over 600 artists participating from over 50 countries around the globe. It is very inspiring to me to have an event like this one allow people to create and share something beautiful with everyone on the internet. During these days of lockdown I find myself staring at a lot of screens. I have made a conscious decision to use my weekends differently and spend the weekends offline during that time. This here was the result of a fun evening NOT watching anything on Netflix (!) and pimping the ol' chilly bin with a lick of paint! This black and white trio is now framed and hung, I love to come home and have them lined up like this. The series is about the fragile creatures of New Zealand. A reminder and warning of what could happen if we don't keep looking out for our native wildlife. . The red triangle symbolises caution, something that traffic signals have previously taught us.
